The BC Métis Federation (BCMF) and the Skeena River Métis Community Association were proud to host a vibrant weekend of music, dancing, and community at the Skeena Valley Country Music Festival on August 16th and 17th in Thornhill.

Over two days, festival-goers gathered to enjoy a full lineup of entertainment, including performances from local favourites Spring Fever, Fast Country, Country Mavericks, Full Tilt, Rebel Heart, and Crimson & Lace. The event also featured an open mic, a lively band scramble, games, a silent auction, and prize draws that brought added excitement throughout the weekend.

Families, friends, and community members came together to celebrate with laughter, dancing, and the shared joy of live country music in the Skeena Valley. BCMF extends heartfelt thanks to the Skeena River Métis Community Association, participating musicians, and all of the volunteers who helped make the festival possible.
