Notice is hereby given that the BC Métis Federation (BCMF), in accordance with Bylaws of the BC Métis Federation Society (2011), will hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the purpose of sharing information and electing one (1) President, one (1) Vice President, one (1) Secretary, one (1) Treasurer and five (5) Directors at Large to the Board of Directors on Saturday September 24, 2016 in Terrace BC, for the next ensuing term.

IMPORTANT NOMINATION INFORMATION – READ THIS
In order for a nominated Candidate to stand for Election for the BCMF Board of Directors they must provide the following information to the Electoral Officer pursuant to and in accordance with the BCMF Bylaws:
- Provide proof of BCMF membership;
- Be a BC resident for at least 12 months prior to election date; and
- Submit a current criminal record check provided by the RCMP or Municipal Police.
ANY ELIGIBLE BCMF MEMBER WHO IS A RESIDENT OF BRITISH COLUMBIA AND AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE MAY NOMINATE ANOTHER ELIGIBLE BCMF MEMBER BY:
- Downloading the NOMINATION FORM at www.onefeather.ca/nations/bcmf and properly complete as provided for in the instructions; OR
- Emailing the Electoral Officer to receive a NOMINATION FORM via email and properly complete as provided for in the instructions;
