Kamloops Gathering Success – Job Fair and Procurement Session

BC Métis Federation leaders and team members held their fourth job fair and procurement opportunity forum in Kamloops this past weekend. This was the fourth of six job fairs and procurement engagement meetings being held across British Columbia in partnership with the Government of Canada via Natural Resources Canada during February and March.

There was an excellent turn out of Métis people coming from Merritt, Kelowna, Clearwater, Penticton and several within Kamloops itself. Local BC Métis Federation Project Coordinator, Marie March, and Project Manager, Greg Mazur, brought together a number of opportunities with Trans Mountain Expansion and the Coastal Gas link. Employers and procurement specialists attended from SA Energy, Infracon, Macro Spiecapag Joint venture, All Nations Trust Company, and others.
