The Nova Metis Heritage Association from Surrey is holding their Annual General Meeting this Saturday. November 16th, 2013 at the Whalley Legion Cadet Hall from noon – 3:00 PM.

Nova represents approximately 2000 members and encourages all Nova membership to attend. BC Metis Federation signed a Statement of Cooperation in 2011 with Nova leaders and will attend and provide updates. There will also be important information shared about the proposed Kinder Morgan Canada’s Transmountain Expansion project.

This will mark the date of the draw for the three prizes for the limited entry raffle for the blanket box and other items. Be sure to come out and purchase your tickets as there are only a few remaining for the prizes.
