The BC Metis Federation strongly urges members and all Metis people to attend an information session led by Robyn Allan next week. The session is entitled “Economic Challenges of the Enbridge Pipeline” and these are public meetings in Prince George (Oct 2nd) and Mackenzie(Oct 3rd)
Ms. Allan is a distinguished Canadian economist and former head of ICBC whose research shows that the export of raw bitumen via the Enbridge Pipeline would have negative effects, not only on the environment, but also on our economy in terms of fuel price increases, job losses and other factors.
