Today the BC Métis Federation is excited to announce the call for Elder applications (minimally Métis and 55 years of age resident in BC) to volunteer on the inaugural BC Métis Federation Métis Elders Michif Language Revitalization Project Committee.
BC Métis Federation Vice President Rene Therrien stated, “Our Métis Elders Michif Language Revitalization Project Committee has a limited maximum of 5 seats available. For those expressing interest in being on the Committee, please submit a short background bio of your experience and history or awareness of the Michif Language.”
Deadline is September 24th for Elder applications.
