On February 17th, the Métis Association of Central Okanagan (MACO) hosted a Métis heritage table in Kelowna.

On Family Day, MACO helped kick off Heritage Week festivities in Kelowna with their dedicated table where visitors learned about and celebrated Métis culture. Visitors enjoyed various displays along with pemmican samples! This year’s Heritage Week theme, Pastimes in Past Times, celebrated the many ways people spent their leisure time throughout history and explored how these activities have contributed to the cultural fabric of today.
